We are committed to environmental consciousness and continually evaluate the sustainability credentials of our supply chain, collaborating with partners and continually measuring our impact for improvement, our actions aligned with our three ‘focus’ UN SDG’s.

                            

With these goals in mind our actions include; 

Responsible Energy Consumption

We implement extensive energy reduction practices to reduce our carbon impact including;

• Energy efficient LED lighting
• Prioritising event venues are powered by renewable energy sources where possible
• Use of energy efficient equipment and appliances
• Smart scheduling and logistics to streamline transport for staff and event clients/guests.

Responsible Catering

We integrate responsible catering practices that support environmental sustainability, health and our local economy by –

• Choosing green food suppliers who source local ingredients and design seasonal menus.
• Implement careful planning and portion control to manage food waste.
• Donation of surplus food to local charities and food banks.
• Ensuring minimal packaging during transportation.
• Ensuring reusable tableware and cutlery.

Responsible Waste Management

LIBRA ensure responsible waste management in the planning and delivery of every event by –

• Ensuring comprehensive waste segregation at source.
• Collaboration with partners and venues to ensure effective waste management.
• Utilisation digital ticketing, registration processes and communications.
• Using paperless marketing and promotional strategies where possible.

Responsible Supply Chain

LIBRA actively seek out and collaborate with environmentally conscious partners so we can maximise the positive impact of our events. 

• LIBRA informs our partners about the importance of their commitment to reducing carbon impact.
• We work with suppliers and service providers that are committed to environmentally-friendly practices.
• We encourage all suppliers to use energy-efficient equipment.
